Paul Onuachu Funds 0,000 Health Centre Project in Imo Community

Paul Onuachu, striker for Trabzonspor, has launched a major philanthropic initiative aimed at improving healthcare access in his hometown of Amakohia, Owerri West Local Government Area of Imo State.

The Super Eagles forward is personally financing the construction of a modern health centre valued at approximately $450,000, a project designed to address longstanding gaps in healthcare delivery within the community.

The facility is expected to feature consultation rooms, a well-equipped laboratory, a pharmacy, and basic emergency services. Plans are also in place to recruit qualified medical personnel to ensure efficient and sustainable operations.

The project commenced during Onuachu’s recent visit to Nigeria for the international break, with construction already underway.

Beyond his exploits on the pitch, Onuachu’s gesture has been widely praised as a meaningful contribution to grassroots development, reinforcing his role as a community leader committed to giving back.

Residents and fans have welcomed the initiative with enthusiasm, viewing it as a significant step toward improving access to quality healthcare in rural areas of Imo State.

The project remains in its early stages, with Onuachu pledging to see it through to completion.
