Peter Olayinka: Nigerian striker undergoes successful Achilles operation

Nigerian striker, Peter Olayinka has successfully undergone operation on his Achilles tendon injury that will place him on the sidelines for a long times.
Olayinka suffered a career threatening injury during Red Star Belgrade’s UEFA Champions League encounter against AS Monaco.
The club, have however confirmed the striker has successfully went under the knife that will rule him out between six to nine moments.
“Peter Olayinka was successfully operated on in Finland by a famous doctor, after an Achilles tendon injury due to a blow he received during a match in Monaco,” the club said in a statement.
“Everything went well and we are waiting for the post-operative period to pass in order to estimate the return time of Zvezda’s football player.
“We wish him a speedy recovery and return to the field.”
The Super Eagles’ forward has scored two goals and registered two assists in six league outings for Red Star Belgrade this season.
