Pyunik Yerevan lauds Yusuf Otubanjo goal scoring exploit

Pyunik Yerevan has lauded their goal poacher Yusuf Otubanjo on his remarkable goals exploit in the Armenian Premier League.

The Nigeria striker scored his 50th goal in the Armenia league against Pyunik 5-0 thrashing of Van.

The most successful club in Armenia, congratulated to the Nigerian for reaching the 50 goal mark in 94 appearances and wished him the best ahead.

“In the match against Van, Yusuf Otubanjo scored a hat trick for the first time and celebrated his 50th goal in the Armenian Premier League,” the club said.

“Playing for our club, the striker scored 23 goals in the top division. This season, Yusuf has scored six goals in six appearances and now takes the second place in the scorers list.”

Otubanjo has banged in 23 goals in 36 appearances for Pyunik Yerevan with his fastest goal coming in the seventh minute and late goal coming in the 96th minute of added time.

He has emerged the highest goal scorer in the league twice.
