Rasheedat Ajibade scores in Atletico Madrid stalemate with Badalona

Nigeria forward, Rasheedat Ajibade’s goal for Atletico Madrid was not enough as the Spanish Liga F women’s side played out a 1-1 draw with Badalona in a league match on Saturday.
The former Avaldnes player scored the opener for the visitors in the 16th minute at the Estadi Municipal de Badalona.
She was set up by Fiamma Iannuzzi before scoring her sixth goal of the campaign.
In the 58th minute, Irina Uribe restored parity for the host.
Ajibade played the duration of the game, scoring his sixth goal in the league this season.
She has also provided two assists after 12 league games for the capital club.
Atletico Madrid occupy the third position on the league table with 29 points after 16 games.
They will next face European and Spanish champions FC Barcelona in the semi-final of the Super Cup on January 22, 2025.
