Remo Stars Ladies’ Olasubomi Ogundele Celebrates UNILAG Graduation

Remo Stars Ladies player Olasubomi Ogundele has marked a major milestone off the pitch, celebrating her graduation from the University of Lagos (UNILAG).

For Ogundele, graduation day represented far more than the cap and gown. It crowned a demanding journey filled with pressure, sacrifice, long nights, and moments of doubt, as she balanced academics with football, leadership responsibilities, and entrepreneurship.

“Balancing school, leadership, football, and building a business was not easy, but it shaped me in ways I will forever be grateful for,” she reflected.

Amid lectures, assignments, and deadlines, Ogundele not only built a business but also signed her first professional football contract, proving that consistency and resilience often drive the most meaningful growth.

“This degree is proof that hard seasons still produce beautiful outcomes,” she added. “Thankful to God, my family, my friends, and everyone who stood by me.”

Ogundele graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Education (Educational Management), earning a Second Class (Upper Division).

With her academic achievement secured, the Remo Stars Ladies midfielder now looks ahead with renewed purpose.

“Officially a graduate. Still building. Still dreaming. Just getting started.”

Her story stands as a powerful example of excellence beyond the pitch, inspiring young athletes to pursue both sporting and educational success.
