Rumour Mill: Juventus plot move for Wilfred Ndidi amid interest from EPL, Saudi clubs

By Wale Mustapha

Italian Serie A giants Juventus are reportedly preparing a formal bid for Nigerian international and Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi.

The Super Eagles vice-captain is expected to leave the Foxes this summer, with a release clause believed to be around €9 million following Leicester’s relegation from the Premier League last season.

Ndidi, 29, is also attracting interest from Manchester United and Everton, while clubs in Saudi Arabia are said to be monitoring his situation closely.

Despite the growing interest, Ndidi has yet to make a final decision on his future.

However, it is widely expected that he will depart the King Power Stadium before the new season begins.

The defensive midfielder joined Leicester City in January 2017 from Belgian side KRC Genk in a €17 million deal and has since been a key figure in midfield for the Foxes.

With multiple clubs vying for his signature, Ndidi’s next move could be finalized in the coming weeks as transfer activity intensifies across Europe.
