Nigeria international Alex Iwobi is set to undergo his medical ahead of the £22m move to Fulham FC from Everton.
According to reports, Everton and Fulham have reportedly reached an agreement on the transfer of the Super Eagles midfielder.
The development paves way for the 27-year-old to now travel to London for a medical today to complete the move before the transfer deadline.
Iwobi joined Everton from Arsenal in the summer of 2019, shortly after helping Nigeria to a bronze medal finish at that year’s Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
He has played in two of Everton’s three Premier League games this season, with the Toffees yet to pick up a single point and sitting bottom of the table.
The Nigerian forward has made 123 league appearances, scoring six times.
He also featured in all of Everton’s 38 Premier League games throughout the 2022/23 campaign and provided a club-high seven assists.
At Fulham, Iwobi will reunite with manager Marco Silva, the coach who engineered his transfer from Arsenal to Everton four years ago.
