Rumour Mills: Genk slap €25M price tag on Arokodare amid interest from AC Milan, EPL clubs

Belgian Pro League side KRC Genk have placed a €25 million valuation on Nigerian striker Tolu Arokodare, amid growing interest from European heavyweights including AC Milan, Fulham, and Burnley.

According to Belgian outlet Het Laatste Nieuws, Genk are open to selling the 23-year-old forward this summer, but only for a fee that could match or exceed their current transfer record—set in 2020 when Sander Berge joined Sheffield United for the same amount.

Arokodare has emerged as a key transfer target for Serie A giants AC Milan, who are reportedly in early discussions with Genk as they continue their search for a reliable frontman. The Rossoneri view the Nigerian as a physically dominant and versatile attacking option capable of fitting into their dynamic forward line.

Meanwhile, Premier League sides Fulham and Burnley have also expressed interest, further strengthening Genk’s position at the negotiating table.

While Genk have had a relatively quiet transfer window—adding just Daan Heymans and Tobias Lawal—club management, led by new coach Thorsten Fink, is focused on retaining key squad members. However, Arokodare and teammate Zakaria El Ouahdi are among a select group given the green light to leave should suitable offers arrive.

Arokodare’s impressive form, characterized by his strength, aerial ability, and eye for goal, has made him one of the most sought-after forwards in the Belgian league, drawing interest from top clubs across Europe.

His future is expected to be a major storyline as the summer transfer window unfolds.
