Nigeria striker Victor Osimhen has revealed he will make a final decision on his future this week following a successful loan spell at Turkish Super Lig champions Galatasaray.
The 25-year-old forward scored an impressive 37 goals and registered seven assists across all competitions for Okan Buruk’s side during the 2024/25 season.
Galatasaray are reportedly ready to trigger Osimhen’s €75 million release clause to secure a permanent deal, but they face stiff competition from unnamed Saudi Arabian clubs also vying for his signature.
According to Turkish outlet Takvim, Osimhen has informed Galatasaray’s management that they will be updated on his decision shortly.
“I will make my final decision regarding my transfer within a week,” Osimhen said after Galatasaray’s final match of the season. “It will be a very difficult decision for me, but I’m prepared for it.”
The outcome of Osimhen’s decision is expected to significantly shape the summer transfer market, with the prolific forward attracting interest from top clubs across Europe and the Middle East.
