Sam Sodje advocates for brilliant assistants for new Super Eagles gaffer

By Saheed Afolabi
Sam Sodje has urged the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to appoint skilled indigenous coaches to support new Super Eagles head coach Bruno Labbadia.
Following Finidi George’s brief tenure, Sodje emphasized the need for technically proficient assistants to effectively complement Labbadia’s strategies.
“The NFF should bring in people who know what they’re bringing to the table for this man,” Sodje told Brila FM.
“Ensure they are technically sound to contribute effectively to his ideas.”
The Super Eagles are set to face Benin Republic in the AFCON qualifiers on Saturday, September 7.
