Saudi Arabia will prepare for the 2027 Asian Cup with two training camps and four international friendlies against Asian opposition, including matches against South Korea, Uzbekistan, Qatar and Jordan.

The tournament will be hosted in Saudi Arabia from 7 January to 5 February, with the hosts drawn in Group A alongside fellow Arab sides Kuwait, Oman and Palestine.

The Saudi Football Federation announced the preparation schedule in a statement on its official account on X on Thursday. The first stage will take place in Qatar from 9 to 17 November, with Saudi Arabia facing South Korea on 13 November before meeting Uzbekistan four days later.

The second camp will be held in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, between 21 December and 3 January. The team will play Qatar on 27 December, followed by a meeting with Jordan on 2 January. The match against Jordan will be played behind closed doors.

The federation presented the schedule under the slogan “A new phase… towards Asia”, highlighting the two camps and four friendlies as the final preparation for the continental tournament.

Saudi Arabia had confirmed its Asian Cup group-stage fixtures on Tuesday.

The hosts will begin their campaign against Palestine on 7 January at King Fahd Sports City Stadium. Their second match, also at the same venue, will be against Oman on 12 January.

The final Group A fixture will see Saudi Arabia face Kuwait on 17 January at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium.

The 2027 tournament will be staged in Saudi Arabia, with the group-stage schedule giving the hosts three matches against Arab opposition before the knockout phase.
