Seven Nigeria women referees to get FIFA 2023 badges

Seven women’s football referees have been pencilled down to receive the 2023 FIFA badges to officiate matches.
The event is scheduled to hold at the NFF secretariat, Moshood Abiola stadium, Abuja on the first of February 2023.
Four of the women’s referees will be badged as FIFA referees, while three will be be badged as FIFA assistant referees in a ceremony at the glass house.
The women’s referees to receive the FIFA 2023 badges are, Ndidi Patience, Hannah Eliagwu, Olufunmilayo Alaba and Yemisi Akintoye
The three FIFA badge assistant women’s referees are, Mfon Friday Akpan, Beauty Kabenda Terah and Abibat Yusuf.
However, we have a total of 22 Men referees that will also be receiving their 2023 FIFA badge at the glass house.
Seven FIFA referees, seven assist FIFA referees, four FIFA beach soccer referees and four FIFA futsal badge referees.
The FIFA badged referees are, Ogabor Joseph, Nurudeen Abubakr, Quadri Adebimpe, Kassim Abdulsalam, Abdullahi Abubakar, Bashir Salihu and Grema Mohammed.
The FIFA assistant referees will be, Samuel Pwadutakam, Usman Abdulmajeed, Efosa Igudia Celestine, Hope Igho, Tejiri Digbori, Muhammed Yakubu and Tijjani Ahmad.
FIFA beach soccer referees are, Jelili Ogunmuyiwa, Fawole Olawale, Olayinka Olajide and Rabiu Ahmad.
FIFA futsal referees are, Bello Zuru Alhassan, Musa Dung Davou, Paul Umuago, andUhah Ndubuisi.
In all, there are two new entrants into the FIFA badged referees in Nigeria and they are, Muhammed Yakubu and Tijjani Ahmad. They will be badged as FIFA assistant referees.
