Nigerian goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali has described the recently concluded Premier Soccer League (PSL) season as the best for Chippa United.
Nwabali played a crucial role in helping the Chilli Boys maintain their top-flight status, keeping 12 clean sheets in 29 games.
Chippa United finished the season in 12th place on the table with 34 points from 30 games and the 27-year-old Super Eagles’ first-choice keeper insisted that the season was one of the best in his career.
“To be honest, this season has been one of the best seasons of my football career, both inside Chippa and outside Chippa.
“This season, Chippa has been nice to me, and being part of this family, we found ourselves ending the season better than the previous season. This season was one of the best seasons for me,” he was quoted by FAR POST.
Nwabali is expected to bring his club form to the national team as the Super Eagles prepare for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against South Africa and Benin Republic next month.
