Fresh from their recent outings against the Iran national football team and Jordan national football team in Antalya, the Nigeria’s senior men’s national team are gearing up for an exciting summer schedule with high-profile friendlies against Poland national football team and Portugal national football team.
According to the Nigeria Football Federation, through its FIFA Match Agent Jairo Pachon of Eurodata Sport, Nigeria will face Poland at the PGE Narodowy Stadium in Warsaw on June 3.
The Super Eagles will then take on Portugal on June 10, with the venue yet to be confirmed. The clash against the Seleção das Quinas will serve as Portugal’s final warm-up game before they depart for the FIFA World Cup, which will be co-hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Before those fixtures, Nigeria will also defend their title at the Unity Cup in London, scheduled to take place from May 26 to May 30.
With a lineup of competitive friendlies against top opposition, the Super Eagles are set for a demanding and high-quality preparation period as they continue to build momentum for upcoming international commitments.
