Super Falcons Begin Preparations for WAFCON Semifinal Clash Against South Africa

The Nigeria’s senior women’s national team officially kicked off their preparations for the upcoming semifinal clash against South Africa with their first training session held yesterday afternoon.

The session marks a crucial phase in the team’s build-up to the highly anticipated WAFCON 2025 semifinal fixture, scheduled for 5:00 PM tomorrow.

With focus and determination evident throughout the training, the Falcons demonstrated their readiness to secure a place in the final.

Interestingly, despite the arrival of new training kits at the team’s camp, the players opted to continue using their old match jerseys during the session—highlighting their consistent professionalism and commitment to preparation above all else.

The Super Falcons remain focused and united as they aim to overcome South Africa and move one step closer to WAFCON glory.
