Super Falcons stars nominated for Saudi Women’s League award

Nigeria duo, Francisca Ordega and Ashleigh Plumptre are up for Player of the Month in Saudi Arabia Women’s football top flight league.

The Super Falcons duo will compete with Naomie Kabakaba of Al-Ahli.

Ordega scored four goals and had three assists in three games.
She plays for Al Ittihad Ladies.

Plumptre, also with Al Ittihad Ladies, scored twice and assisted three times.

Kabakaba, a Congolese forward, scored five goals in three games for Al Ahli. Fans can vote on the Saudi Women’s Premier League Facebook page.

Plumptre captains Al-Ittihad and gets support from Ordega.

Both players may feature in the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON). Nigeria coach Justine Madugu will consider them for the tournament.
