Taiwo Awoniyi, Ola Aina taste defeat in Nottingham Forest loss to Manchester City

Nigeria duo, Taiwo Awoniyi and Ola Aina were on parade as Nottingham Forest suffered a 2-0 loss to Premier League champions, Manchester City at the Etihad stadium on Saturday.
Awoniyi and Aina started the encounter for the Reds in the encounter and were in action for 75 minutes before paving way for Chris Wood and Divock Origi.
City got the match underway with a cool finish in the seventh minute coming off the boots of Phil Foden.
Seven minutes later, Erling Haaland popped up with a header to double City’s lead. An off the ball incident saw Rodri given his marching orders for an act of indiscipline against Gibbs-White to reduce Manchester City to ten men.
The series of pluck in changes from Nottingham Forest failed to add more bite to the team as Haaland came close to score in the 78th minute to guide his effort above the crossbar.
The defeat to Forest makes them the 38th side to loose 100 Premier League games.
