Taiwo Lawal rescues point for Unye Kadin against Beylerbeyi

Nigeria forward, Taiwo Lawal helped Turkish Women’s Super League side, Unye Kadin to a 1-1 draw with Beylerbeyi on Saturday.

The host went behind in the second half after a goalless first period.

Kader Hancar opened scoring for Beylerbeyi in the 68th minute.

With the match poised to end in favour of Beylerbeyi, Lawal equalised for the host in the 84th minute.

The former FC Robo Queens player has scored four goals for Unye Kadin in the league this season.

With the draw, Unye Kadin occupy the 12th position with 16 points after 21 games.

They will face fifth-placed ALG Spor on March 27, 2025, in another league encounter.
