Tanko Abdullahi smashes fifth goal of the season for Baník Ostrava

Nigeria forward, Tanko Abdullahi was on target in FC Baník Ostrava 3-0 victory against SK Sigma Olomouc in the Czech Tipsport Liga.

Tanko proved to be a deadly goal poacher to net his fifth goal of the season in Baník Ostrava colors.

The Super Eagles striker was left unmarked in the 18 yard box to fire home the lead in the 11th minute.

Baník Ostrava dominated proceedings in the first 45 minutes with series of chances to back up their performance in the encounter.

Macik provided a lifeline for SK Sigma Olomouc in the 19th minute to handover breakthrough for his side in the game.

Da Silva doubled Baník Ostrava lead before the end of the first half with a superb finish to restore the lead.

The second half was very competitive with both sides closing down any chances or opportunities for goal.

Buchta finally silenced the home fans with a goal in the 78th minute which extended Baník Ostrava lead to 3-1.

After ten games, Baník Ostrava are seated on the fifth position of the Czech First League with 17 points and will trade tackles with 13th place FK Pardubice.
