“Then never see anything” — Boniface celebrates Osimhen winner vs Konyaspor

By Monsurah Olatunji

Bayer Leverkusen striker Victor Boniface couldn’t hide his excitement as he watched his fellow Nigerian, Victor Osimhen, score the only goal in Galatasaray’s 1-0 victory over Konyaspor in the Turkish Super Lig.

Osimhen was a constant threat to Konyaspor’s defense and won a penalty in the 20th minute after being fouled by Ismael Jakobs in the box.

The Nigerian forward confidently converted the spot-kick, bringing his season tally to 12 goals. This victory not only marked Galatasaray’s return to winning form but also highlighted Osimhen’s crucial contributions, with five of his last six goals coming from penalties.

After Osimhen posted a celebratory picture of himself following the goal on Instagram, Boniface couldn’t resist joining in on the fun, leaving a playful comment: “Them never see anything.”

Meanwhile, Boniface is recovering from a thigh injury sustained during the November international break, which has kept him sidelined for the last 12 matches.

In other news, the Nigerian forward recently signed a one-year contract extension with Bayer Leverkusen, doubling his salary from €3 million to €6 million per season, making him one of the highest-paid Nigerian players in Europe.
