Head coach of Ghana U20 men’s national team, Desmond Ofei has admitted Nigeria deserved to win the WAFU B U-20 Championship in Togo.

The Black Satellites lost 2-1 to the Flying Eagles in the final of the 2024 edition decided at the Stade de Kegue, Lome on Wednesday night.

Kparobo Arierhi grabbed a first-half brace for Nigeria to successfully defend the title they won two years ago in Niamey, Niger Republic.

Jerry Afriye pulled a goal back for the Black Satellites in the second half.
