Nigeria forward Tolu Arokodare has revealed that his club future remains uncertain amid speculation linking him to major European clubs.
The Genk striker, who has attracted interest from Turkish side Trabzonspor, has expressed a desire for a move away from the Belgian Pro League.
In a light-hearted comment, the 23-year-old striker joked about the possibility of joining Spanish giants Real Madrid, saying, “I think I might go to Real Madrid. I hear they are still looking for a second striker next to Mbappé,” as reported by Het Laatste Nieuws.
Despite the rumors, Arokodare emphasized his focus on his current club.
“I have a contract with Genk and am focused on this club, not on rumors. Where do I see my future? I’m not clairvoyant. No idea, man,” he added.
Arokodare has scored two goals in four matches so far this season, contributing to Genk’s tally of seven points from their opening four games.
They will next face Fortuna Sittard in their upcoming match.
