Spanish La Liga side, Celta Vigo, are reportedly eyeing Nigerian striker Josh Maja as they look to strengthen their attacking options in the upcoming January transfer window.
According to Spanish news outlet Super Deporte, Celta Vigo have added Maja to their list of potential targets as they seek to bolster their forward line.
Maja, who has been in excellent form for West Brom this season, has contributed nine goals and one assist in just 15 league appearances, catching the eye of several clubs.
His performances have put him in the spotlight, and Celta Vigo see him as a potential replacement for veteran striker Iago Aspas, whose contract is set to expire next summer.
West Brom have reportedly set a €20 million asking price for the Super Eagles forward, which could prove to be a key factor in negotiations.
With Aspas nearing the end of his contract, Celta Vigo are keen to secure a long-term replacement, and Maja is viewed as an ideal candidate.
The 24-year-old’s potential move to La Liga would see him continue his development in one of Europe’s top leagues, with Celta Vigo looking to bring in a player who can make an immediate impact in their bid to improve their attacking options.
