Transfer News: PSG to renew interest in Victor Osimhen in January

By Wale Mustapha

French giants Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) are reportedly preparing to make another move for Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen in the upcoming January transfer window.

PSG made an attempt to sign the Napoli forward during the summer transfer window, but negotiations broke down as the Italian club set a high buyout clause that the Parisians were unwilling to meet.

Despite this setback, PSG has not given up on securing Osimhen’s signature and is now planning a renewed offer in January, with hopes of meeting Napoli’s valuation, according to Corriere dello Sport.

Osimhen, currently on loan at Turkish Super Lig champions Galatasaray, has been sidelined due to a muscle injury but has still impressed this season, scoring 10 goals and providing five assists in 13 appearances across all competitions.

The 25-year-old remains a key figure for both Galatasaray and the Nigerian national team, and his future continues to be a subject of interest among top European clubs.
