Two-time winner Samuel Ahmadu earns fifth Nigeria Football Pitch award nomination

NigeriaFootball.ng Chief, Samuel Ahmadu has been nominated for football journalist of the year in the online category of the Nigeria Pitch Awards.

The spokesman of the Nigeria Women’s Football League (NWFL) is getting consecutive nominations for the award and will jostle with two others for the prize.

They are Niyi Busari (BSN Sports) and Kunle Solaja (Sports Village Square).

The women’s football expert has distinguished himself as a household name in the sports media industry in his chosen genre.

With the FIFA Women’s World Cup, Paris 2024 Olympics, Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), and Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) to his belt, he is the favorite to claim the prize for another year.

Meanwhile, other categories for the awards include goalkeeper of the year, defender of the year, midfielder of the year, team of the year, coach of the year, striker of the year, Sam Okwaraji Award, State with the best grassroots football development program, football pitch of the year, football friendly governor of the year, corporate sponsor of football award, sportsmanship award, an football journalist of the year in print, TV, radio, and online.
