U17 Women’s World Cup: Time and where to watch Nigeria vs Ecuador

Nigeria’s U17 women’s national football team, , are gearing up for their second group match in the ongoing FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup, where they face Ecuador in the Dominican Republic.
The 2022 bronze medallists secured a convincing 4-1 victory over New Zealand in their opener, placing them at the top of Group A on goal difference.
On the other hand, Ecuador, also off to a strong start, defeated the hosts 2-0.
Shakirat Moshood, Taiwo Adegoke, Faridat Abdulwahab, and captain Taiwo Afolabi all found the back of the net for Nigeria, while Ecuador’s Jaslym Esther Valverde Tenerio scored twice for the tournament debutants.
This will be the first-ever meeting between the two nations at this level.
While Ecuador is making its tournament debut, the Flamingos have a storied history, though they missed the 2018 edition for the first time since the competition’s inception in 2008.
The highly anticipated match will take place at Cibao Stadium in Santiago on Saturday, October 19, 2024, kicking off at 9 PM Nigerian time. Fans can catch the action live for free on FIFA+.
