U20 World Cup Draw: We Are Ready for the Flying Eagles – Norway Coach

By Oyediji Oluwaseun Babatunde
Norway’s U20 head coach, Bjorn Johansen, has conveyed his confidence in the team’s readiness to face Nigeria’s Flying Eagles in the forthcoming FIFA U20 World Cup.
After the draw on Thursday evening, Norway found itself grouped with Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, and Colombia.
Johansen recognized the physical strength of the Nigerian squad but stressed that his team is prepared to meet the challenge head-on.
“We had hoped to steer clear of certain teams, but now we have the chance to measure ourselves against opponents we rarely encounter—particularly Nigeria, who possess significant power and strength,” Johansen stated in an interview with Norwegian football media.
“We have plenty of time to get ready for our group-stage rivals, and we are genuinely excited to be part of what is expected to be an exhilarating and remarkable tournament,” he concluded.
