Napoli manager Rudi Garcia has heaped plaudits on Victor Osimhen following his impressive performance against Sporting Braga on Wednesday night.
The Nigerian forward led the line and registered an assist in their 2-1 victory over Sporting Braga.
The Super Eagles striker set up Giovanni Di Lorenzo through on goal with a slick pass, and the Italian converted to notch the opening goal of the match.
The 24-year-old saw 90 minutes of action before he was hauled off for Giovanni Simeone.
However, his effort did not go unnoticed as his coach praised his dedication after the triumph.
“Victor Osimhen fought hard and ran,” he was quoted by Football Italia.
“It’s what I expect from all my players, that when it comes time to defend, they all help out.”
