“Use Victor Osimhen more efficiently” — Turkish analyst urges Galatasaray

By Monsurah Olatunji

Turkish football analyst Ali Ece believes the key to Galatasaray’s success this season lies in the effective use of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen.

Despite recent inconsistencies, Galatasaray remains at the top of the Super Lig, but their lead is under threat from Fenerbahce, who are just four points behind.

Osimhen continued his impressive form, scoring his 17th league goal and adding an assist in the team’s 2-1 victory over Alanyaspor.

However, he missed two other chances and was substituted in the 90th minute, unable to add further to his tally.

Ahead of the match, Ece confidently predicted a Galatasaray win but emphasized that the outcome heavily depended on Osimhen’s performance, forecasting that the Super Eagles star would score at least twice, leading the team to victory.

“If Galatasaray is successful, Osimhen will lead to success,” Ece stated, as quoted by GsGazette.

“I think he will score at least two goals against Alanyaspor. I hope Okan Hoca will abandon his mid-head football and use Osimhen more efficiently.”

With the club’s Europa League campaign now over, Galatasaray will focus all their efforts on securing a third consecutive Super Lig title.
