Victor Boniface ranked most valuable Nigerian player after Victor Osimhen – Report

Nigerian striker, Victor Boniface has seen his recent remarkable form for club and country ranked as second most valuable Nigerian player in world football.

The 22-year -ld has seen his value astronomically rise from €12m to €40m by leading player’s valuation expert, Transfermarkt.

Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen valued at €120m is the only Nigerian player more expensive than Boniface.

The latest valuation has however ranked the diminutive striker as third most valuable player at Leverkusen, 18th in the German Bundesliga and 19th ranked among the world strikers.

Boniface has since hit the limelight last season with his former club, Royale Union Saint Gilloise where he guided them to top three finish as well as finish the season as top scorer in UEFA Europa League

Since joining Leverkusen in the summer, the 22 year old forward has been involved in nine goals from 10 competitive games.

He could see his valuation rising higher anytime soon as Super Eagles’ Coach, Jose Peseiro will be looking towards him to fill the space of injured Victor Osimhen at the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

With Osimhen battling with an hamstring injury, the Bayer Leverkusen forward could be one of the players José Peseiro will be relying upon when Nigeria face Lesotho and Zimbabwe in the FIFA World Cup qualifiers next month.

The increase in stock of the former Royale Union Saint-Gilloise striker comes as no surprise as his exploits have increased rapidly in the past twelve months.
