Victor Osimhen joins Napoli training camp amid transfer speculations

Sought-after Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has joined Napoli’s training camp in preparation for the new football season.
Osimhen has been at the center of transfer discussions with several clubs regarding his potential departure from the Partenopei this summer.
While Napoli is still awaiting concrete offers for the Super Eagles forward, he has been asked to team up with the rest of the Napoli players in readiness for the new football season.
The 25-year-old has undergone a regular medical routine and has been passed fit to train with his teammates while he waits for positive news from any of his suitors.
Chelsea, PSG, Arsenal, and some clubs from Saudi Arabia are reportedly interested in negotiating a possible move for Osimhen this summer.
Osimhen inspired Napoli to win the 2022/2023 Serie A season and also emerged as the top scorer with 26 goals.
Despite injuries and a dip in form in the just-concluded league season, the former Lille frontman was still able to deliver double-digit goal contributions.
