Victor Osimhen: PSG tempts Napoli with N130billion (€150m) offer for Nigeria striker

French league champions, PSG are preparing a bid of over €150m to request for the services of Nigerian striker, Victor Osimhen from Napoli, Nigeriafootball.ng understands.

The 25 year old Super Eagles’ striker joined Napoli two seasons ago and has gone to become one of the hottest strikers in the world, helping the Italian side end their trophy drought as they clinched the coveted Scudetto.

The Partenopei are already planning to meet with Osimhen’s agent over a new contract that will see the Nigerian extend his stay at the Diego Maradona Stadium.

However, PSG who have being an admirer of former Lille marksman are reportedly ready to make an offer worth €150m (about N133,935,598,125.00 billion) for Osimhen.

Napoli president, Aurelio De Laurentiis has given his words on retaining the services of Osimhen but refused to rule out his sale if the right price were tabled for him.

A source in Italy informed nigeriafootball.ng that PSG could submit the bid anytime soon which will include performance-related bonuses

The offer from the Ligue 1 champions would ward off competitions from Premier League suitors like Chelsea and Manchester United whose transfer war chest may not be as higher as €150m for a player.

Napoli will hold the ace on Osimhen’s future as he’s Serie A top scorer in the just concluded season and haven scored 29 goals in all competitions.

It is also understood that Jonathan David, another top striker from Lille LOSC has been identified as Osimhen’s replacement should the Nigerian be sold this summer.
