Nigeria striker, Victor Osimhen is still unsure if he will see out the current Italian Serie A campaign with champions, Napoli.
The Super Eagles’ forward had being a subject of a transfer away from Naples since the end of last season having scored 26 goals that helped Napoli ended their three decades’ wait for another Scudetto.
Notable clubs in Europe including Manchester United, Chelsea, PSG and Bayern Munich have indicated interests to price the 24 year old away from Napoli.
President of the Partonepei, Aurelio De Laurentis has never hide his position that the Nigerian striker would not be sold, at least this summer but would listen to offers in the region of £100m for their price asset player.
Osimhen started the new Serie A season as he ended the previous scoring two goals in their opening match beating newly promoted Frosinone 3-1 on Saturday.
Osimhen was asked after the match about rumors linking him to various clubs, particularly the latest interest from Saudi Arabia and gave his position on his contract situation.
“There has been a lot of speculation, the president is the boss, we are negotiating, I am a Napoli player and I continue to give my heart for my team. Let’s see what happens at the end of the transfer market,” he said.
Napoli will be counting on Osimhen’s continued brilliance as they aim for another successful campaign, having secured their first Serie A title in 33 years last season.
