Video: Roma fans greet Iran star Azmoun

Iran worldwide Sardar Azmoun has landed in Italy forward of his Roma medical, shifting from Bayer Leverkusen on mortgage with possibility to purchase for €13m, to a heat welcome from followers.

The 28-year-old flew from Koln to Rome’s Ciampino Airport in a personal jet and was greeted by supporters who instantly sang his identify, acquired autographs and put a Giallorossi scarf round his neck.

He evidently knew the costume code already and landed sporting a vivid purple shirt, not dissimilar to the Roma package.

Azmoun had additionally been linked with Milan and a possible return to Zenit St. Petersburg.
