The West African Football Union Zone B (WAFU-B) has announced that the official draw for the 2025 CAF Women’s Champions League – WAFU B Qualifiers will take place on Thursday, August 14, 2025.

The draw ceremony will be held at the CAF West Zone B headquarters in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, starting at 10:00 GMT.

The WAFU B Qualifiers will determine the region’s representative(s) for the CAF Women’s Champions League final tournament, scheduled for later this year.

The competition will feature champion clubs from the zone’s member countries battling for the coveted continental slot.

The past four finals has seen Nigeria and Ghana teams jostle for the titles on three occassions.

In 2021 when the maiden edition took place, Hasaacas Ladies (Ghana) beat Rivers Angels (Nigeria) in the final match.

Bayelsa Queens (Nigeria) defeated Ampem Darkoa (Ghana) in the second edition in 2022.

Two years later, Ampem Darkoa edged Delta Queens (Nigeria) 1-0 in Benin City.

The last edition saw Edo Queens (Nigeria) won the title against Ainonvi FC from Benin Republic.
