WAFU-B reveals calendar of tournaments in 2025

The West Africa Zone B (WAFU-B) has released its schedule of competitions in 2025.

In the women’s category, the 2025 WAFU-B Women’s Champions League will take place from August 9 to 24 with the winner qualifying for the 2025 CAF Women’s Champions League.

Edo Queens from Nigeria won the 2024 edition which was hosted in Cote D’Ivoire. The host for the next edition is yet to be decided.

From November 3 to 16, WAFU-B plans to re-introduce the competition for senior women’s national teams in the sub-region.

Nigeria won the last edition of the competition before the COVID-19 pandemic.

There will also be the boys and girls U-15 schools competition from November 27 to 30.

In the men’s category, U-17 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Qualifiers will be staged from September 11 to 25.

There will also be WAFU-B U-20 Boys Cup from October 7 to 23.

The hosts for the above tournaments is yet to be determined opening them up for grabs by Nigeria, Benin Republic, Niger Republic, Togo, and Cote D’Ivoire.
