‘Your stadiums must meet required standard’- NNL to club owners

Emmanuel Adesanya, head of operations of the Nigeria National League has read the riot act to club owners on the standard of its facilities ahead of the new NNL season.
Despite no annoucement of an official kick off date yet, the league organisers have held a crucial meeting with the 43 club representatives to compete in this year’s 2022-23 NNL campaign.
Adesanya listed the qualities of a standard stadium are, quality playing pitch, standard changing rooms with modern toilets facilities, medical facilities, Safety and crowd control, controlled perimeter fencing amongst others.
“Only Stadia that meet their required standard will be used while those that meet it will be taken to alternative venues,” Adesanya told the clubs.
“We have a road map to navigate and the calendar period to start and end the league, so it is important we begin by ensuring that our stadium facilities that will host our games meet required standard.“
