Nigerian international Zaidu Sanusi is expected to leave FC Porto during the upcoming summer transfer window, with the club reportedly open to offers for the 27-year-old defender.

Sanusi’s future at the Estádio do Dragão has come under scrutiny following a challenging season plagued by injuries.

The left-back suffered a serious anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury in February 2024, limiting him to just two appearances in the 2024/25 campaign.

Sanusi joined Porto in 2020 from fellow Portuguese side Santa Clara and has since made 70 appearances for the Dragons, contributing to their domestic and European campaigns.

As the summer window approaches, Porto are believed to be weighing up options, with Sanusi’s departure now increasingly likely as the club reshapes its squad.
