The second matchday of the 2024 Nigeria Beach Soccer League (NBSL) in Birnin Kebbi unfolded with riveting contests and unexpected outcomes, captivating fans and enthusiasts alike.

In the highly anticipated local derby, Kebbi United BSC and Kebbi BSC clashed in a spectacle that saw Kebbi United clinching a sensational 5-4 victory over the reigning champions.

Uzairu Muhammed’s outstanding hat-trick, accompanied by Sadiq Umar’s two goals, propelled Kebbi United to a memorable win.

Despite Kebbi BSC’s efforts, including Adams Taiwo’s impressive hat-trick and Usman Bello’s goal, they fell short of defending their title.

Kada BSC showcased resilience in a thrilling encounter against Nmanko Patigi BSC. Despite trailing 2-0, Kada BSC staged a remarkable comeback, eventually winning 3-1 on penalties after the match ended in a draw in regular time.

In another captivating matchup, Jigawa Golden Stars BSC secured their first win of the season with a hard-fought 3-2 victory over last season’s runners-up, Nmanko Patigi BSC. Despite Nmanko Patigi initially taking a two-goal lead, Jigawa Golden Stars staged a remarkable comeback, ultimately sealing the win in extra time.
