2024 U20WWC: Falconets to depart Nigeria for Tanzania on Friday

The Nigeria U20 team will depart the shores of the country on Friday, November 10 for the crucial U20 FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifier against Tazania at Dares Salem.
The Falconets had played four friendly games and scored 17 goals while conceding a goal in the process and will Murtala Mohammed international airport on Friday morning to Tazania.
The Nigeria U20 head coach, Christopher Danjuma called up over 30 players to the camp before 19 players were eventually picked to execute the U20 Women’s World Cup qualifiers game against Tazania.
The first leg will come up on November 12 in Dar es Salaam and the return leg scheduled for Abuja on November 19.
The Falconets reached the quarter final stage of the 2022 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup by loosing 2-0 to Netherlands.
