2025 CHAN Qualifiers: Black Galaxies coach Mas Ud Didi Dramani confident of victory over Super Eagles B team

The head coach of the Ghana home-based national team, Mas Ud Didi Dramani, says his team is in high spirits and ready to inflict on their Nigeria counterparts back-to-back disappointments as far as the 2025 African Nations Championship (CHAN) Qualifiers are concerned.

The Black Galaxies ensured that Nigeria didn’t make it to the last edition of the tournament via the Qualifiers.

Dramani’s side changed training camp from the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence and the University of Ghana, Accra to the Accra Sports Stadium.

The coach is confident of another triumph over their West African rivals starting with the first leg on Sunday.

“We are playing against one of the best countries in terms of football in Africa and Ghana is equally a very quality side when it comes to African football. The chances are very bright and that is what we are doing,” he said

“We are working on trying to put together a team, building the process, and being able to have the cohesion and the fluidity of the way we want to play. When we bring in the effort and the energy and our adaption in terms of our tactical element we should be able to sail through.

He affirmed his side is physically, technically, and tactically well-oriented ahead of the Nigeria clash.

“We are physically, technically, and tactically well-oriented. Once the days come by, we continue to refine and to do small adjustments and give the alternatives in the game,”

“I’m very positive that come Sunday, we should be fully ready. As for preparation, we are okay. We are already there, but we have to be ready for the game.”

The Black Galaxies beat Togo in an international friendly last week as part of preparations for the must-win game against the Nigerians.

The CHAN tournament is set to be staged in Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania in 2025.

Ghana is facing Nigeria for the second time running, having edged them out of penalties two years ago to secure a spot in the last edition.
