2025 President Federation Cup: Five-star Heartland Queens seal quarter-final berth over Onimarg

Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership side Heartland Queens thrashed nonleague side, Onimarg 5-0 in the Round of 16 of the 2025 President Federation Cup.

Emmanuel James scored the first goal of the encounter in the 25th minute at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City, Edo State capital.

Two minutes later, Chimebere Opara doubled the advantage for Obi Ogbala’s side.

Gbenisola Olaiye’s own goal in the 31st minute increased the lead to three.

James scored her second goal of the encounter to put the scoreline at 4-0 in the 33rd minute.

The second half produced a goal courtesy of Chinwendu Orji.

The result made the Umuahia-based side the first team in the women’s category of the 2025 President Federation Cup to reach the quarter-final.
