2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers: Rwanda Coach Adel Amrouche names 27-Man provisional squad for Nigeria, Zimbabwe clashes

Rwanda head coach Adel Amrouche has announced a 27-man provisional squad ahead of the Amavubi’s crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches against Nigeria and Zimbabwe.

The list comprises three goalkeepers, nine defenders, six midfielders, and nine forwards.

Captain Bizimana Djihad, Fabrice Ntwari, Innocent Nshuti, and Ange Mutsinzi among the regulars retained.

The Amavubi will first travel to Uyo, Nigeria, for a Matchday 7 clash with the Super Eagles at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium on Saturday, September 6.

Three days later, Amrouche’s men will return home to face Zimbabwe at the Amahoro Stadium, Kigali.

Rwanda currently sit second in their qualifying group with eight points from six games, keeping their World Cup hopes alive.
