NPFL: Finidi George aiming for Lobi Stars’ scalp with Enyimba

Head coach of Enyimba, Finidi George insists his mission against Lobi Stars on Sunday is to get the match points.

The People’s Elephants will be slugging it out against the Yes Father Boys at the Lafia Township Stadium in one of the Matchday 29 of Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL encounters.

Both teams still look good to win the title this season with the outcome of the Sunday’s encounter posing a huge importance to how achievable the target will be.

Finidi reiterates that his side has what it takes to get the needed result to consolidate their position on the league log.

“The NPFL being what is and ten more games to be played and looking at our position, we are here to win,” Finidi told Enyimba’s media.

“We don’t know what the outcome will look like but we are here for victory. We are here to play as if we are playing our home match and see what the result will look like.

“If we don’t give our best and we lose, I will be angry about that. We will do our best to make sure we get the maximum three points.

“I am quite optimistic that if we put in that energy like we did against Kano Pillars, I think we will have a chance.”
