Official: Paul Mukairu joins Pogoń Szczecin on two-year deal

Nigerian winger Paul Mukairu has officially joined Polish top-flight side Pogoń Szczecin on a two-year contract, with an option to extend the deal by an additional year.

The transfer fee remains undisclosed. Mukairu arrives from Danish club FC Copenhagen and is expected to link up with the squad immediately. He has been handed the number 18 shirt.

“I am very happy to be here. After talking to the President, the coach and other people from the club, I decided that this would be an interesting step in my career,” Mukairu said after signing.

“I know that the club wants to do something historic, and it is always good to be a part of something like that.”

The 24-year-old forward, known for his pace and versatility on the wings, will bolster the attacking options for the club popularly known as the Pride of Pomerania.
