NPFL: “This is not the time to panic” – Magin urges calm after Niger Tornadoes’ loss

By Wale Mustapha

Niger Tornadoes Technical Adviser Mohammed Magin has called on fans to remain patient and supportive following the team’s 2-1 home loss to Abia Warriors in Matchday 11 of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) last Sunday.

The defeat followed Niger Tornadoes’ away win against Kano Pillars the previous weekend, and some supporters expressed frustration after the team failed to consolidate their position at home.

Speaking to the club’s media team, Magin emphasized the need for understanding and composure.

“What happened in the game against Abia Warriors is common in football. We also went to Kano and got three points,” Magin said.
“This is not the time to panic or worry. Yes, we always want to win, and I assure you we will prepare again to see what we can achieve in Bauchi against Wikki Tourists.”

Niger Tornadoes currently sit fifth on the NPFL table with 17 points from 11 matches. Their next league fixture is against Wikki Tourists on Sunday at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium in Bauchi.
