TCC League: Atlantic Business stun Sporting Lagos in five-goal thriller

Non-league side, Atlantic Business FC on Sunday stunned league side, Sporting Lagos 3-2 in one of the Match Week one games of the 2022/2023 Creative Championship League (TCC League).
The high-scoring game produced two goals in the first three minutes of the game at the Legacy pitch of the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos.
Sporting Lagos opened the scoring in the second minute of play before Alli Mohammed equalised for Atlantic Business FC a minute later.
Rabiu Abiodun in the 63rd minute gave Atlantic Business FC the lead for the first time in the game.
Sporting Lagos thought it had earned a point after Akekoromowei Godspower’s 86th-minute penalty but the goals and drama in the game continued.
With the last kick of the game, substitute, Kingsley Odima headed in Atlantic Business FC’s winning goal.
In the early game, Gabriel Sanda’s 83rd-minute solo effort which resulted in a goal handed Gbagada FC a 1-0 win over Dannaz FC.
At the Dipo Dina Stadium, Ijebu Ode, Dino Sports Club (SC) pipped Imperial FC 2-1 thanks to goals from Stanley Ogbonna and Hyacinth Ogonna.
Biliyaminu Abdulahi had given Imperial FC a ninth-minute lead before Dino Sporting Club’s comeback win.
The last game of the match week will take place on Monday between Broad City ad Valliant FC.
