Thompson Ishaka: Scottish giants Rangers secure signing of Nigerian striker

Scottish Premier League side, Glasgow Rangers have completed the deal to sign young Nigerian striker, Thompson Ishaka.
Ishaka who has gone through successful trials with Rangers has put pen to paper till end of 2024/2025 season.
The diminutive forward had other suitors in Europe, including Manchester City, Chelsea and PSV Eindhoven before Rangers won the race for his signature.
Ishaka was one of the invited foreign based players to the current Nigeria U20 national team but could not make the cut for the U20 African Cup of Nations, AFCON held in Egypt.
He has being on the radar of the Scottish giants for a year before the deal was struck to have him at the Ibrox.
The Riverlane Football Academy Enugu product netted a hat-trick against Dundee and was also on target against Glentoran and MSK Zilina in friendly matches.
