Nigeria land in Argentina in quest for first ever U20 FIFA World Cup title

The Nigeria U20 men’s national side have landed in Argentina in commencement of the U20 FIFA World Cup which starts on the 20th of May, 2022.
The Flying Eagles landed at the Buenos Aires, capital of Argentina as they prepare for a ten days camping before the start of the FIFA U20 World Cup.
Nigeria will be seeking their first silverware at the FIFA U20 World Cup after coming close twice in 1989 and 2005.
20 players accompanied by ten officials arrived at Argentina in high spirit. Despite making their 40th appearance at the U20 World Cup, the Flying Eagles will be recording their 13th appearance at the tournament.
Nigeria will slug it out for the two slots in group D with Dominican Republic, Italy and Brazil.
The Flying Eagles will open their U20 FIFA World Cup campaign against Dominican Republic on the 21st of May at Mendoza, as their second group game against Argentina comes up at the same level on the 24th of May.
Nigeria will face Brazil in their last group game on the 27th of May at La Plata.
