Domo Okara blames NWFL Premiership title loss to key players exit to foreign clubs

Technical Adviser of Bayelsa Queens, Domo Okara has blamed losing his tplayers to foreign clubs as he vowed that his team will bounce back next season after losing the League to Delta Queens.
The defending champions were dethroned on Saturday after losing 2-1 to Delta Queens in the final of the NWFL Premiership Super Six final at the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba.
Bayelsa Queens that struck first in the 14th minute after Chisom Henry bundled the ball into her own net but super substitute, Chinaza Agoh equalized for the hosts in the 67th minute and finally bagged the winner four minutes from the final whistle to cover up Fehintola’s 45th-minute missed penalty.
Despite the setback, the tactician assures has disclosed that the CAF Women’s Champions League bronze medalist will bounce back next season.
“We came up with a plan to win the match but we lost. We cannot win every game. I wish the winners the best of luck,” Okara told media.
“We lost some attackers. Some of them have traveled to Europe. The only area where we had challenges was in attack. We would go and prepare and bounce back next season. I wish Delta Queens the best of luck.”
